Jeff joined Private Capital Management in 2000 as Vice President of Client Relations, developing deep relationships with the Firm's largest institutional investors both domestically and abroad. Since stepping into the role of Managing Director in 2006, he has been the visionary behind the Firm's growth, the cornerstone of its Client Services team, and the driving force behind the Harmonic Funds which were launched in 2016.
Through his close relationships with clients, Jeff identified a common challenge among the Firm's retiree and pension plan investors - the need to balance the firm’s flagship small company focused investment strategies with income generation and volatility management. True to his urging to the PCM team to be “in the solutions business”, Jeff did not just identify the problem – he researched and led the team to create and implement a series of investment solutions that addressed this need. Today, Jeff and the team manage the Harmonic Investors’ funds. The Harmonic funds encompass a diverse range of strategies including long/short equity, derivatives (primarily focused on call and cash-secured put writing), fixed income alternatives, and self-storage real estate strategies.
Committed to delivering exceptional client experience, Jeff envisioned and staffed the Firm's Concierge Services team - a dedicated group focused on cultivating meaningful and measurable client relationships by serving our investors’ needs beyond what traditional wealth management firms are willing to do. Jeff is a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut and holds a degree in Finance along with several FINRA licenses.
